The South Dade Democratic Black Caucus – Ron Brown Chapter was established to address the political needs and concerns of African Americans in South Miami-Dade and surrounding areas. Named in honor of Ron Brown, a trailblazer in public service and a champion for equity, the chapter continues his legacy of leadership, inclusion, and accountability.

From its founding, SDDBC-RB has focused on increasing voter participation, improving voter education, and advocating for policies that uplift historically underserved communities. Our work is rooted in the belief that democracy is strongest when everyone participates.

While our mission centers on the African American experience, we proudly welcome all Democrats across Florida who support our goals and values.
